Young Mariners Get Lesson in Thwarting Pirates
The hijacking of the Maersk Alabama April 8 brought home the importance of anti-piracy training to Massachusetts Maritime Academy students. Instructor Captain Joseph Murphy, above, is the father of Shane Murphy, a crew member on the Alabama and a graduate of the academy.
